Your privacy, in plain terms
We keep data collection light. This page explains what we gather when you visit, why, and the control you have over it under UK data protection law.
Who is responsible
BritCasinoVault operates this comparison site and is the controller of any personal data described here. If you have a privacy question, you can reach us through the contact page.
What we collect
- Information you send us. If you use the contact form, we receive the name, email address and message you provide so we can reply.
- Basic usage data. Like most websites, our analytics may record non-identifying information such as pages viewed, approximate region, device type and referring link, to understand which comparisons are useful.
- Cookie preferences.Your choice in the cookie banner is stored on your own device so we don't keep asking.
We do not run gambling accounts, so we never collect deposits, betting history, payment card details or identity documents. Those stay with the licensed operators.
Why we use it
We use contact details solely to answer your message, and usage data to maintain and improve the site. Our lawful bases are your consent (for non-essential analytics cookies) and our legitimate interest in running a reliable, relevant comparison service.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. Limited data may be processed by trusted service providers such as our hosting and analytics suppliers, who act on our instructions. When you click an affiliate link, the destination operator and any associated network set their own cookies under their own policies — see our cookie policy.
How long we keep it
Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any follow-up, then deleted. Aggregated analytics are retained for limited periods in line with our analytics provider's settings.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, contact us and we will respond within the statutory timeframe. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
Updates
If this policy changes, the revised version will appear on this page. We'd encourage you to check back occasionally.
